Obituary of Litsa Krinos

Litsa (Rizomarcos) Krinos, 80, of Burlington, passed away Tuesday, January 28. She was the wife of the late Demetrios Krinos. Born and raised in Sanford, Maine, she was the daughter of the late George, and the late Peggy Rizomarcos. As a child, Litsa also spent time in Greece. She earned her business degree from Nassau College in Maine, and later worked as an administrator at Union Hospital. She also worked as the business administrators for her husband’s private Psychiatric practice. While on vacation in Greece, Litsa met her future husband Demetrios, whose parents were from the same village as his. Litsa was very proud of her Greek heritage. She loved cooking, shopping, and spending time at the beach. She and her late husband also loved going to the symphony and to museums. Most of all, Litsa was an amazing Mom and Grandmother! She is survived by her daughter, Corinna Fiorotti of Burlington; and two grandchildren, Sophia and Isabella. A funeral service will be held at the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Montvale Ave., Woburn on Friday, January 31 at 9:00 am, followed by burial at the Pine Haven Cemetery in Burlington. Contributions in Litsa’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements by the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, Burlington.
