Peg and Family:
So sorry for your loss.......
Jim's contributions to Ocean Spray were numerous. He was a significant
contributor to the building of the Lakeville-Middleboro Corporate Headquarters,
all while managing the Office Services group in Plymouth. He always went the
extra mile, was a friend to many, and devoted to his family. It still amazes
me that he commuted over 100 miles each day to Ocean Spray - a great man.

It’s easy to describe what kind of an impression Jim made on people.
The first time I met Jim was when my wife Karin and I had moved into our home on Violet Road, When I noticed there was this young man moving stuff onto what I thought was the back of my back yard. I wanted to nip this in the but and I approached Jim and, in his disarming, way assured me that all was “OK.”
We became friends and my wife Karin and Jim’s wife Peg also became friends. My sons and their youngest sons bonded through school and sports.
Jim and Peg always included us when there was a party at there home and other events that were going on in their lives.
When we bought a summer home “camp” in Maine, one of the highlights was when Jim, Peg and Peg’s sister and all of their children would come to “camp” for the weekend to enjoy summer events, eat tons of food, play cards, drink beer and just enjoy each other’s company.
With seven children, there was always something going on and Jim would quietly oversea all that was going on would respect and encourage each child to express their point of view.
I guess what I am saying is Jim was a good man, a loving husband a great father.
I consider myself lucky to have known Jim and he just made my life a little better.
Karin and I share with you your loss,
Joe Itrato

It was with the greatest honor as Mother of Michelle Browne to be a part of Jim’s family. He was a great inspiration to his family and loved each of them with all of his heart. I will truly miss this wonderful man and know that he will live on in each of my grandchildren always. He will be missed but surely left a legacy with everyone who had the pleasure of being part of his life. ❤️
