Mr. Hughes was my principle at the Cutler school in the mid seventies. I recall him fondly till this day. I remember when I was leaving to move to California, Mr. Hughes made it a point to speak with me privately. Mr. Hughes wished me well and gave me a gold pen with the school name on it. I had that pen for many years. A good man who left a lasting impression on me at a very young age. Rest well Mr. Hughes, you taught me well, thank you!

Dad, you are a legend. Forever young and always asking about me and family. Never complaining about getting older, aches and pains and your perception about being in a place with a bunch of old people at the assisted living place you lived..Your love for mom was truly evident and you looked forward to visits with your many daughters.
We have talked a few times a week for years and always knew what was going on. I am so happy to have advocsted for you in medical issueds over the years and so grateful for my sisters for stepping in to help mom as well. . You were the perfect husband, father and grand and great grandfather. Amazing you still played bridge with the younger folks and didn't "lose your marlbles" as you would describe about other older folks. You always made us laugh with your unique sense of humor and forever young. I will miss you dearly. If I am at least half as good as you I will be OK. Thank you for always emphasizing how important education is and being proud of what I accomplished over the years. I know you always loved me and will forever
Heavan will inherit a happy chsracter
We will have a few storms from all the laughing you will create in heaven
Love you forever Dad.

Dad, I will always miss the conversations we had whether it was about life, sports, or politics, You always guided me in the right direction. I know I wasn’t an angel but I truly adored you and mom. I would do anything just to have you back for another conversation and lunch together. Most of all I’ll miss sending you and mom my food delivery orders! I especially liked being the only boy/son, and being adopted which I’m very proud to be! I couldn’t ask for better parents! My office shows it! I have pics all over my desk of you and mom. Every time I see Cape Cod potato chips I think of you!!!! Most of all I’ll miss you and I know you will be looking down on me. I love you so much , I know when it’s my time we will go for clams and go to the track! Again Dad I love you so much. It was too early for you to go, but God takes the very Best - love always, Best son JJ, Jay

Dad, I will forever miss your warm love and concern for all of us. I would give anything to have one more bear hug from you and hear you call me "Mary Doll". You have always been my rock and my inspiration. I miss you and can't imagine life without you. I know you will now be our angel in Heaven watching over us.
I love you DAD,

Roseann and I send or heart felt condolences and prayers to the whole of Arthur and Irene's family. As Eucharistic Minister's at Blessed Sacrament Church and involved in the church, and church charities we always knew Arthur as a gentleman and giving person. Roseann spent many Fridays with Arthur and Irene giving communion to the sick at Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. He will be missed.
