Lorraine was a customer of a bank I managed over a dozen years ago. She was the kindest woman, and treated me and my team like part of her family. She just popped into my mind and I am so sorry to hear she just passed away, but thinking of her will always make me smile. She was one in a million, and my thoughts go out to her family.

Lorraine Nicoli started caring for us when we were babies in Belmont. We were too little to pronounce her name at first, so we always called her “Coli.” Even when we no longer needed a babysitter, she was such good friends with our mother, Judy, that she came by every week. I have never known a person so kind and so humble as Coli. She was model for me for how to be, and I am grateful to all the people who contributed to her life.

She was so good to me when I was growing up. The most cheerful, funny, and warm person that I was lucky to know. She'd be listening to Irish music or American Standards, singing, dancing, and cracking jokes while she worked, always helping people. I'll never forget her. God be good to her.
