Obituary of Elaine Marie Suleski

Elaine Marie (Arseneault) Suleski passed away after a lifelong struggle with rheumatoid arthritis at home on Monday morning, December 10, 2012. She was 56 years old. She bore her cross with dignity and in doing so inspired her family and caretakers. Elaine was born in Newton and grew up in Burlington. She was a graduate of Burlington High School, Class of 1976. She had worked at a local bank as a teller and at the Burlington Community Life Center. She made her home in Peabody for 28 years, before returning to Burlington 4 years ago. Elaine’s heart was full of kindness. She volunteered at the Fernold School in Waltham. She would visit the residents at the Burlington Senior housing and would often do errands for residents. She was a wonderful mother to her 2 children, William and Jennifer. She invested herself in her children always giving whatever she could for them. She would help them with their studies and encouraged them to go to college and do well. She was a wonderful example of enduring life’s trials and challenges. She loved animals especially cats and dogs. In her final years, her family loving cared for her and her faith helped her to overcome her discomfort and pain. Elaine was the loving mother of William and Jennifer Suleski both of Peabody. She was the beloved daughter of Mary (Carberry) Arseneault of Burlington and the late Paul Arseneault. She was the sister of Michael, Fred & Denis Arseneault all of Burlington. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret’s Church, 111 Winn St., BURLINGTON at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
