I had the pleasure of working with Helen during her stay at rehab. It's rare that people touch your life the way Helen touched mine. She brightened my day every single day and was a blessing to me. I would thank God for her smile and warmth. I'm happy she gets to be with the savior this Christmas but this world will miss her. Love ya Helen

Dear Auntie,
I’m so relived your suffering is over and so happy you are with all those you’ve been missing for so long but I just wish I could have just one more day, just one more cup of tea. I’d tell all about our victory yesterday and try to find a way to thank you for everything you did for our “Hals”. Getting her to the endless appointments and all her activities would have been impossible without you. I remember how you must have gone to a million stores to find the right goggles for swimming lessons because she wouldn’t put her head under water. You were so patient and encouraging week after week and when she finally dove into the water 3 weeks ago, the first thing she said was “Auntie should be here “. I keep thinking about something else Halley would say “I have two grandmothers, one’s name is “Nana” and one’s name is “Auntie”. To have a loving aunt is a wonderful gift. To have had you is indescribable. You were our immediate family and we will miss you every day – especially on Tuesdays. You were there for me my whole life in good times and bad and I always felt like you and Uncle loved me like a daughter. I can’t have that cup of tea with you and I can’t tell you how grateful I am now. I can only try to live my life as you lived your life – for others.
Rest in peace beautiful lady.
All my love,
Patti

We are very sorry to hear the news of Auntie Helen's passing. We loved her spirit, energy, and most of all her devotion to her family. She was always loving and kind to our kids and we all loved the annual pancake breakfast with Santa at St. Barbara's. We will miss her. ~Michael and Amy Donnelly
