We loved Tom. He was a multi talented man with a great personality and love of family and country which lasted his entire life. We met him at Dunkies many years ago and enjoyed his stories and his company and his generosity, always wanting to buy us our cup of Joe! He lived a very fulfilling life, all that any man can ask and he relayed to us all the time how lucky he was and his amazement of it. Harriet, his wife another doll who set this man on the right course most of his life and gave it meaning and vitality. Truly one of the good guys with a heart of gold and a real zest for life. He always reminded me of the men that fought for our freedoms. Tom will definitely be welcomed into the arms of God. Love always from the Twins from Burlington!

Tom would come into Dunkin Donuts on Winn Street every morning and sit at the corner table with his buddies! He would chat it up with everyone coming and going! He will be missed by all of us here! My condolences and prayers are with his family! Rest In Peace my friend! Patrice Trodella and Dunkin Crew!

I casually met Tom when I stopped at Dunkin Donuts on my way to work one morning. He was sitting in the corner with a group of guys. I noticed he was wearing a US Marines hat so being the wife of a Vietnam Veteran, I thanked him for his service. Tom introduced himself and introduced his friends who were also Veterans. I introduced myself and smiled and left. I visited Dunkin Donuts frequently and Tom was always there sitting in the same corner with the same guys wearing the same hat. We said hello again. Over the next few years we became friends. They even asked me to stay and have coffee with them. I had to get to work but promised I would once I retired. I did just that. I visited a few times a week until I moved but never forgot Tom and his wit, gentle smile and friendship. I’m sad he’s gone but happy to have met such a wonderful man in Tom. I’ll pray for Tom’s Family at this difficult time and will always remember Tom.

To all the Hamilton family, I am sending my heartfelt condolences. I hadn't seem Tom or Harriet many times over the recent years, but I sure had alot of memorable times with them back in the 80's and 90's, as his 'personal insurance agent' - - hahaha. Thank you again for inviting me to his 90th birthday dinner; I was so happy to be able to go! Virtual hugs to you all! Lynne
