Obituary of Mary A Feller

Mary A. (Schraffa) Feller, passed away at the Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley in Billerica on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.  The beloved wife of the late Leo Feller, she was 88 years old. 

Mary was born and raised in East Boston.  She met her husband Leo while he in the Navy and stationed at the Charlestown Naval Shipyard.  They married and moved to Burlington in 1955.  They had a wonderful 61-year marriage and did everything together.   They liked to go fishing, flea markets and take visits to North Dakota to visit Leo’s family.  

Mary was a wonderful cook. She made the best Italian dishes and there wasn’t an Italian restaurant that could match her home-made meatballs or Lasagna!  Mary was very loyal to her family. She loved to get together with her sisters and brothers.  She was a wonderful and supportive to mother to her two children Cathy and Warren.   Mary was blessed to become a grandmother and great grandmother.    Mary will be remembered for her love and loyalty to her family.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Leo Feller.  Loving mother of Cathy Houghtaling & her husband Rick of Rindge, NH and Warren Feller & his wife Yingli of North Billerica. Proud grandmother of Riley Feller, Melissa Sardelli, Michael Houghtaling and Sena & Zoe Agbleze.  Great grandmother of Connor, Nicholas & Sawyer.     Sister of Ann Shelleby of PA, David Schraffa of Revere and the late Anthony Schraffa and Lu Lu Caudill.  Funeral Services will be private.  In lieu of flowers memorials in Mary’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, MA Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.  Arrangements under the direction of the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, BURLINGTON.
