My Deepest Sympathy to the Marasa family. My name is John Maguire and I worked with Ralph for many years at the US Postal Service. I liked Ralph and his old school sense of humor, as he made sense about everything. I didn't know Ralph was as old as he was, as he got around pretty good physically and did his fair share keeping up with the younger Mailhandlers. I lost my brother back in 1997 and was devastated by this loss. I saw a side of Ralph then, that I didn't know before. He was sympathetic to my loss and paid me a visit to my house. He had a good heart and I got to see that side of him and liked very much. We had both served in the US Army, so we had a connection there for the Military. Although we all go our separate ways I have only good memories of Ralph, and will miss him. I just learned of his passing today. I am retired from the US Postal Service for awhile now and just learned of this. Well, it sounds like Ralph had a great family and a great long life. RIP Ralph

Dear auntie Peggy,
I tries to enter a condolence with a candle, but
Apparently it didn't go through.
I'd like to call you if you feel like talking and I can express my deepest feelings for your loss and how much uncle Buddy meant to me. And how incredible you have been these last years of his illness. You are so special to me,and you know I've been praying for you both for years.
Love you Auntie,
Janet

I am so thankful to have met you Peggy at the VA. Your friendship means so much to me. It was wonderful meeting your husband, your son. I will miss seeing Ralph on my visits. And I will so miss seeing you my love. My heart goes out to you and your family. This is such a difficult time, but made even more tragic with the timing of a pandemic. Virtual hug love.
XO,
Judie

Peggy,
Thinking of you today as I do often; this morning you popped into my head; and that is before I saw Ralphs, beautifully written, obituary. I remembered Ralph and my shared 'birthday'. (my 2nd birthday, that is). Each year, on 16Dec I think of the inevitable birthday card from the previous year(s) you gave your sweetie - being recycled again and again. Well, if he didn't know then, he now does. You took wonderful care of him, Peggy, I simply admire you. God Speed, Ralph!
With my thoughts, prayers, love and always, in friendship...
Doris

Dear Aunt Peggy and children, My sisters and I have fond memories of spending holidays and special occasions with the large and very warm and welcoming Marasa family. Great food, thanks aunt Peggy, and lots of laughter were always abundant at these times. We were a noisy, fun family, with lots of cousins for playmates growing up. We were lucky to have so many family members to spend time with, there was never a dull or quiet moment, we loved it. As the youngest of a large family, dear uncle Buddy had many siblings who enjoyed joking and occasionally teasing him, all in good natured fun. It was always interesting when the clan got together, what was always present, was love for one another, he will be dearly missed. Sending love, peace and prayers to his devoted, loving family. I'll never forget going to my Uncle Buddy's and Aunt Peggy's house in Arlington for the very first Super Bowl. Uncle had a color TV which was a big deal back then and had a great time watching the game. Thanks for that memory Uncle I have never forgotten it and never will. Love your nephew Albert...Rest in Peace
