With my love and sympathy to you & all of your family. Although I did not know Joe, I know he was well loved by my nieces, Amanda and Brandy and highly regarded by all my family. One thing is certain he was a fine man from reading some of the tributes to him! There aren't any words to take away the pain and sadness....may time grant you peace.
God Speed Joe.

I will miss Joe's sense of humor and passion for life and being a good friend. God bless him and his family, whom he cherished and loved so much. I was fortunate to have known Joe and he will be missed by me on many levels. Rest In Peace my friend.

Dear Family Members,
I would like to share my condolences on your painful loss. I worked with Joe at Raytheon and then followed him to Delta F, where we worked closely together for another 11 years. Joe was my great friend throughout that time, and also a mentoring figure for me. He was such a gentlemen, so professional, and so intelligent and hardworking. He was the man that the entire company centered around and so highly respected. His contributions were unmatched and his presence was a single anchoring force. I have nothing but great memories of time spent with him and appreciation for the friend that Joe was. I am a better person for knowing him. I have not had the pleasure of meeting all of you his children, but I can vividly remember your adorable photos he proudly displayed in his office. I am sure that all of you possess the amazing gifts that he handed down to you and hope that you can be as proud right now as you are sad.
My Best to you All,
Bob Masi

Dear Ellen & family,
We are so very sorry to learn about Joe's passing. Joe was a great guy, always smiling, trying to do the best for his clients. He made selling our condo a pleasure. A true professional and we felt the two of you became "friends" along the way. Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family.

So sad to hear about my nephew Joey. I knew him only briefly in July 1977 when visiting my American family for the first time. I was 15. Jerry was a great guy, introduced me to the Eagles and gave me some newly minted coins which I treasure to this day. We only spoke a few times after that, but always with great affection. I found the one photograph I have of him. I think that is Michelle on his knee. What a handsome boy. My deepest condolences to Ellen and family.

I was Joe’s college roommate for 3 yrs so there are many great memories. Feeding his tarantula that lived with us, making it through pledge week, watching him stroll the quad with his large leather hat and black jacket. My fondest memories was having him show up at our wrestling matches and be the one that would sit in front of my mother. You see good old mom was a bit of an excited fan and poor Joe would sit there smiling while she Hit his back and even dig in the finger nails. If Joe was not there there would always be 2 open seats to give her room. When she would apologize and thank him he would simply say it was his pleasure to support her. Boy those beatings by my mom cost me a few meals at the Boynton or Mexican place. He was a greT man and a great friend.

Dan and I had the great fortune of spending a few days in the Colorado Mountains with Joe and Ellen we will never forget it. As he always does, Joe was able to make us laugh. The night we arrived Colorado surprised us with a few inches of fresh snow in Sept, well that was not going to stop Joe from lounging poolside so out he went and lounged. He will me missed so much

Being Joe’s cousin, I watched him grow from a small boy into an incredible man. I have been in awe of his accomplishments, his strength, his perseverance, and his deep love of his family. He was truly an amazing person. We grew up living far apart, but the times we spent together were always special. As years went by I watched him build a beautiful family, and Richard and I have always enjoyed all the times that we spent with him and Ellen. Even though those times would be so far in between, it was like we had always been together whenever we would be with them. Those moments are now deeply cherished memories for us. Ellen, our hearts go out to you. We can’t even be together to help you though this devastating loss. Love to you, to Kristine, Marissa, Erica and Jay, and love to your sweet grandchildren. He was taken from you all, way too soon. Love to Uncle Zar and Richie and Gina too. Our hearts are broken.

I was blessed to have a man like Joe in my life. He hired me at Delta F when I was 19. Throughout the years Joe gave me the courage and opportunity to fill a bigger role at the company. As time went on Joe became a mentor to me. I always said he was like a 2nd father to me. Joe was always there for me to guide me through my life's headaches and Joe always provided me with fierce wisdom. I always made sure we kept in touch as life went on. We would meet up with just ourselves and other times with the guys from Delta F. Joe always impressed me with the ways he went about everything. He was very methodical in every way. I always tried to emulate Joe's ways. Joe did things for me that I would never expect a colleague now turned friend to do. Throughout our years as friend I watched Joe fight for himself and his family. He never showed any fear. I guess that's what any great LEADER does. Joe I'm going to miss you from the bottom of my heart. Say hi to my Dad and brother for me. Be ready for a big handshake from my Dad and brother. They know all you've done for me. I will not say goodbye...I'll see you again. I'm going to miss you

Sharon and I were blessed to have known Joe and Ellen for almost 40 years. Joe and I met at WPI and became friends during our sophomore year at WPI. There are many people you meet in life, but so few have a profound influence on you. Joe was such a great friend over the years and would do anything for anyone. There are so many good memories over the years from our times at WPI up through our adult lives. Joe was a great husband, father, and grandfather who has been taken from us way too early. Our condolences to Ellen, the kids, Joe's dad, Richie, and Gina. We were blessed for our time with Joe and may he rest in peace.
