Donna Faith Crown, a retired Software Engineer, passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2020.  She was 61 years old.

Donna was born in Hopewell, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Rebecca Williams.  Donna was raised and educated in Colonial Heights, Virginia.  She graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in mathematical science. Donna had a brilliant mind and was a longtime member of MENSA, which is the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world. She had a career in the computer industry working as a Software Engineer and a Computer Programmer.  Donna’s greatest role was that of mother to her three daughters whom she adored: Sena, Zoe and Riley. 

About twenty years ago Donna moved to Burlington where she raised her three daughters.  Donna was an avid reader.  She was a fan of many different authors and enjoyed attending their book signings.  Attending book signings gave her a chance to ask questions of the author and get the author’s perspective on their work.  She met many brilliant authors throughout the years including Steven King!   Donna was excited to be a grandmother to her granddaughter Ruby, who brought so much joy to her life. 

Donna was the beloved mother of Sena Agbleze of Ayer, Zoe Burchfield of Nashville, TN and Riley Feller of Billerica.  She was the proud grandmother of Ruby Burchfield.  Donna was the loving sister of Lynda Heath of GA, James Williams of VA and the late Dennis and Dean Williams.

Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Route 128/95 Woburn side) on Sunday July 12 from 1-3 p.m.  Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend.  Funeral Services will be private.
