Anna (Capobianco) Webb, 88. of Burlington, MA, died peacefully at home on July 10, 2020, after a lengthy bout with cancer.  She was born and raised in East Boston, MA by her parents, Joseph and Mary (Sersanti) Capobianco, who immigrated to the US from Italy.  After graduating from Girls High in Boston, she began a career as a travel agent, relishing the opportunity to see distant places and experience different cultures.  She was married for over 50 years to her beloved husband, Frank, who she lost in 2014.  After raising three children in Burlington, she began a second career as an executive assistant for the town’s Board of Selectmen where she enjoyed her front row view of local politics.  She was the last of her immediate family, having been predeceased by her brother, Alfred Capobianco of East Boston, her sister Duilia Alfano (and her husband Mario) of Winchester, and her sister Rose Donovan (and her husband Joseph) of Winchester.  She will be forever missed by her children Frank Webb and his husband, Steven Schroko, of New York City, Steven Webb and his wife, Maria Nardella, and son, Tucker, of North Andover, and James Webb and his children, Dario, Francesca (Clark), Claudia and Ava, of Burlington.  She will always be remembered for her sharp wit, dry sense of humor, and unwavering commitment to her family.  Mamma é sempre mamma

.

Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128/95 Woburn side) on Tuesday, July 14 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.  Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Given the ongoing health crisis, the family understands that the decision to attend is a difficult one, and encourages people to put their personal comfort and health first.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701  www.cancer.org
