For years we have been looking for our platoon mate from Vietnam, we weren't sure of the state he lived in but knew it was on the east coast..we were assigned to the 62nd maint bn..in 67-68 in the security and recon platoon..While I am not positive this is our old friend the picture and his eyes say yes it is..sadly we found our old friend too late it seems..may He rest in peace and may his family know that his old platoon mates from Vietnam remembered him with fondness...Rest In peace Pat ( our name for him )
I am sure none of Pat's survivors will know me, but this message is for Pat. I am sure we served together in the 62nd Security and Recon platoon in Pleiku Province in 1967. His picture makes me think it was the same man. Your face changes but your eyes don't. Rest in Peace, my Brother. Wish we could have hooked up earlier.
