My mom was involved with many ministries with Dick at St Margaret's over the years. He was very kind to her after our dad passed away as was all of the St Margaret's "family." I am so happy Fr Shen was able to bring Dick the comfort of the last rites and also officiate at his funeral. He truly lived the faith he believed. May he rest in peace.

I told my grandson so many stories of Uncle Richie. Taking us into the basement to show us the Piranha tank. Letting us play on the "mountain" with the goats and bunnies. He actually raffled off a big white bunny with pink eyes when we were little. We had to guess a number and he said I won. He probably just wanted to see my mother's reaction when I brought it home. That thing stretched out to the size of a small dog!! I can hear my mother saying "oh that Ritchie"!!! He is a one of my favorite memories growing up on Mooney Road. You couldn't help but be happy around him. I love you Uncle Richie. Laure

Uncle Richie you will be sorely missed. I'll share one memory that only the few people who were there will appreciate and know what I'm talking about. The memory of you standing on that corner with your goat in your arms saying what you did will never leave my heart. I still laugh when I think about it to this day. Love, Donnie
