In our journey through life, We sometimes encounter extraordinary people who make a difference in the lives of so many others. Claire was one such person. Her courageous battle against her illness was inspiring. Beyond that, her many charitable endeavors and accomplishments in catholic education should be an example to all of us about evangelizing not just by word but by action. May god grant her family and friends the grace and strength to be comforted by the knowledge she is now safely in his eternal care.

As I got older (76) I felt the need to reach out to people I met when I was younger. To some it was just to share a memory but to others it was to thank them for the positive influence they had on me as I struggled to become a better person. Paul and Claire were the latter. I called them several months ago and was greeted warmly even though we hadn’t spoken in decades I suggested we get together for lunch and we did. It turned out Claire was a fellow cancer survivor and was so upbeat about still being able to live life. The meal ended and we parted. I was so glad I got to tell both Paul and her how much I appreciated their friendship when I was struggling to fit in. My wife and I both prayed for Claire and she did for us. What an amazing wonderful kind loving person she was. She will be really missed by everyone who was blessed to know her. We will continue to keep her in our prayers. Rest In Peace beautiful lady.

I remember your mom from all her activities at St Margaret's. Both your parents were very generous with their time and talents and helped expand and strengthen the marriage prep and encounter programs there. I am so sorry for your loss and for the loss of such a faithful servant of God. We thank God for her devotion to ministry. May she rest in peace.
