I am devastated to hear of Joan’s passing....she was a warm and wonderful person and so funny.
We had a great trip to San Francisco together in the 90’s....we stayed up late sharing stories and laughing.
It was a wonderful memory.
My sincere condolences,
Barbara Katz

Joan was a woman of many many talents. She was smart, generous, and artistic. Our fondest memories are of how much fun she could be-a smile, a chuckle, a full throated laugh. It was a joy to be around her. Her parting will leave a deep hole in your family. There was something special about her ability to gather people together. We hope and pray she is with the angels cradling her loved ones who had gone before her. We believe she is now surrounded in peace, love and comfort. We offer our comfort to you for the loss of your beloved mother and sister. Marianne and George Snow

Joan was an amazing seamstress among her many other talents. Here is a picture of our cousin Louise’s wedding where my sister Virginia and I were bridesmaids for the first time and Joan was Maid of Honor. Joan made all of our dresses and headpieces.
She did this with such ease. Photos were black and white back then but I remember them being a beautiful shade of blue.
Rest In Peace Joan.

Joan was an amazing, talented, creative and artistic woman. Whatever she chose to do she ultimately mastered. Against so many odds she found ways to forge ahead and succeed in life. One of my fondest memories of her was at our cousin sleepover 3 years ago. She waltzed through the door like Loretta Young and twirled in her "revealing" negligee to the delight and applause of the rest of us. That is how I'll always remember her, a wonderful moment in time where she was laughing, twirling, happy and carefree.
Love to all of you,
Leslie
