Obituary of Eric Rosberg
Eric S. Rosberg passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at the age of 45. Eric was born in Boston and grew up in Somerville. He attended St. Clement's School and was a graduate of North Cambridge Catholic High School. He worked as an electrician and was a member of the Electrician's Union, Local 103. He worked with the Union at Mass Electric for many years.
Eric and his family have made Burlington their home for the past 15 years. He cherished the time spent with his family. Eric was always on the go. He enjoyed dirt biking and shared the passion for riding with his children. They spent countless hours together sharing the thrill and challenges of riding their motorcycles. He enjoyed fishing, power boats, and anything with an engine. Family vacations were always spent near the water and in the warm weather in Cape Cod or Lake Winnipesaukee. He leaves his family with broken hearts, but lasting memories.
Eric was the l Loving father of Derek, Devin, Drew and Erika all of Burlington. He was the beloved son of Joseph & Mary of Lynnfield. He was the brother of Joseph & his wife Theresa of Burlington, Maryann Cummings & her husband George of Burlington and Karen Furey & her husband Sean of Lynnfield. He was the former husband of Maria (Salvaggio) Rosberg of Burlington.
Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Monday, Jan. 21 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret's Church, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be private. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made for the Rosberg Children. Donations should be made out to Mary Rosberg, C/O Bank of America, 11 Center St., Burlington, MA 01803.
