Obituary of James Drugg
James “Jim” Drugg, a Project Manager for ProCon Construction passed away after a short battle with cancer. He was 53 years old. Jim was born and raised in Sanbornville, NH. He was a graduate of Spaulding High School in Rochester New Hampshire in 1977. He then went onto to Wentworth College to earn a degree in construction management. It was during those years that he met his future wife, Nancy Sandmann. They would marry in 1984 and settled in Burlington. Jim worked the past 18 years with ProCon Construction as a project manager. He oversaw large commercial construction projects including Marriott hotels, The Country Club, Phillips Academy, and countless commercial buildings. He enjoyed his career, the many challenges of his job, and his coworkers.
Jim had an adventurous side to him. He loved the outdoors, sports, and sharing his passions with his family and friends. He wasn’t just a skier, but a member of the Wildcat Ski Patrol. He spent many happy days teaching his children how to ski and then later trying to keep up with them on the slopes. He shared many great days at his parent’s Great East Lake in New Hampshire. He enjoyed family vacations always seeking new and different experiences for his children. He was a big Boston Spots fan, especially the Red Sox and Patriots. He also supported his children’s passions as well. He was an assistant baseball coach and coached both his son’s Pop Warner Football teams. He made every effort to be a very important part of all his family’s life’s, sharing in their successes and being at their side during their challenges. Jim’s early passing will be difficult to accept, but he has left his family with a wonderful trail map on how to be a good husband, father, and friend. His memory will always remain in the hearts of all that loved him.
Jim was the beloved husband of Beloved husband of 28 years of Nancy M. (Sandmann) Drugg. He was the loving father of Deanna, Derek, & Devon all of Burlington. He was the son of Mary Drugg of Burlington and the late Charles and brother of Scott & his wife Patricia of Wakefield, NH. He was the son-in-law of Nancy DelliColli of Burlington and brother-in-law of Kurt Sandmann of Burlington, Linda Pace of Hudson, NH, and Deborah & Joseph Tringali of Hampstead, NH. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128/95, Woburn side) on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 9:30 a.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Malachy’s Church, 99 Bedford St., Burlington at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Friday at the Sullivan Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial in Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
