My heartfelt condolences. Billy was a childhood friend of mine during his time in San Mateo, California. He lived on Rolling Hills for only about a year, but it was a memorable year. I remember his bushy head of blond hair and extremely outgoing spirit. He quickly acclimated and became a part of the neighborhood pack. We all had a fun time learning how to imitate the “Boston” accent as Billy tried to teach us West Coast kids how to say "pahk the cah in Hahvad Yahd". I was hoping to connect and share some memories with him.

I am so sorry to read that Bill (Billy as I called him) has passed. I was friends with him and his family back in Melrose High school days in the early 70's. He knew how to light up a room with his smile and his laugh! I have wondered where life had taken him and last knew he was in Salem, NH. but that was before he was married. My heart goes out to Gale and his children.

I got to know Bill while working with him at QSA Global. He was a great engineer and friend. Bill even talked me into looking at Windham and that I where I live today with my family. My most sincere condolences to Gail and the Mender Family.

We had the pleasure of being summertime neighbors and friends of Bill and Gale on the island. I always admired Bill’s ingenuity and “make it happen” resourcefulness. He seemed to truly enjoy taking on challenges of island construction and living. Our heartfelt condolences to Gale and daughters and all family and friends. Mike and Paula Wood

My brother-in-law Bill was gregarious, intelligent, generous....I could go on. He could turn an absolutely boring day into an event that would be cherished forever. One of the things I most admired about Bill was the way he treated my sister and the girls. He loved them to the moon and back. I can still hear that great laugh he had. He will truly be missed but never forgotten.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bill through his daughters Alayna & Emily while coaching them at gymnastics. Bill was larger than life and had an infectious personality. He was his daughter’s biggest & loudest cheerleader. He will be remembered with great fondness.
Love,
Kara
