Thomas V. Punnoose, Jr. passed away at his home in Waltham with his beloved wife and daughter by his side on Friday, May 7.  He was 77 years old.  Thomas was born in Kottaya India.   Thomas served his as an officer in the Indian Army.  He joined the army when he was just 17.  Thomas’s role was to ensure national security, national unity and to maintain peace.  He loved his role in the Army and was very proud of his dedication to his country.   Thomas worked hard to provide for his wife and three children and would take additional shifts to makes sure that they did not want for anything.  He made sure that his children got the best education.  His greatest goal was to move to the United States, which he did four years ago.  Thomas will be remembered as a wonderful man who was loved by everyone who knew him. 

Thomas was the beloved husband of Thankmma Thomas, whom he had just celebrated 50 years of marriage on January 3.  He was the proud father of Nisha Jose & her husband Biju of Waltham, Nibu Thomas & his wife Jeena of Saudi Arabi and Neethu Samson & her husband Samson Philip of Muscut.  Proud grandfather of Jonathan & Jerimah Thomas, Bezelel & Nathan Samson and Abigail Grace & Sophia Jose.  Thomas is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at the International Church of God on Saturday, May 15 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.  Followed by burial in Mt. Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
