Obituary of Emily M Inchierca

Emily M. Inchierca, know as Millie to her friends and family, a retired nurses assistant, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021, at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington.  She was 86 years old.  Millie was born in the North End of Boston.  Her mother, Rose, was an Italian immigrant and her father, Frank, a Portuguese immigrant.  Millie was a school bus driver in Burlington for many  years before becoming a nurse’s assistant at the Lahey Hospital where she worked until her retirement.  Millie enjoyed going to flea markets, cooking, working around her home, spending time with her family and her beloved dogs (Ty and Sugar) which meant the world to her.  Millie, despite her age, was an active person taking care of her home and animals never slowing down.  Millie was a very giving person and had an incredible sense of humor.  When she told one of her whimsical stories, she would have everyone in stitches to the point of tears.  She had a great bond with all her siblings and was a fun and loving aunt to her many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  Millie’s memory will forever bring a smile to the faces of all her family and friends.

Millie was the wife of the late Joseph Inchierca. She was the loving sister of Elaine D’Eramo of Burlington MA,  Theresa Innello of Acadia, FL, the late Joseph, Frank, Anthony, John & Augustus Nogueira, Mary Polcari, Rose Paulo, and America Balian. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
