Obituary of Susan Carol Moloney

Susan Carol (Frasca) Moloney, a woman devoted to her family, passed away at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center following a lengthy illness.  She was 56 years old.  Susan was born in Winchester and raised in Burlington. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Elsie Frasca.   Susan was a 1983 graduate of Shawsheen Technical High School in Billerica. She went on to graduate from Lawrence Memorial School of Nursing in Lawrence in 1987.  Susan would meet Timothy Moloney while he was working at the 99 in Billerica. They married in 1988 and would raise their two daughters in Methuen.

Susan’s destiny was to be a nurse, she had a caring and nurturing nature about her. She worked two jobs for many years, one of them being at LifeLinks in Chelmsford and the other as a triage nurse on weekends. Throughout her nursing career she was also a hospice nurse to a lot of special people. She ended her career from Wingate at Andover Rehab. Susan always went out of her way to help others. Even at family parties she would be the last to leave, making sure everything was cleaned up and in order!

Susan’s greatest role in life was being a mother to her two daughters Melissa and Michelle. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them.  When they were younger both girls were involved in Cheerleading. Susan was the Director of the Pop Warner Cheerleading organization for many years. She was also involved with their softball program, a sport that she played in high school.  As a family they enjoyed their annual vacations at Salisbury Beach.  She was blessed to see the birth of her three grandchildren. She had a special relationship with her oldest granddaughter Gianna whom she spent so much time with.  Her two youngest grandchildren, Leo and Livi, always brought a smile to her face.  All three of her grandchildren brought immense joy to her life and kept her going.  Susan had a great love for animals most especially cats. She had a Siamese cat named “Bella” that she loved.

Susan had an outgoing personality and was always so full of life.  At family weddings she was the first one on the dance floor and the last one off. She had a very witty personality.  Her infectious laughter and beautiful spirit would fill the room. She will be missed so very much.

Susan was the wife of Timothy B. Moloney. Loving mother of Melissa and Michelle Moloney both of Methuen.  Proud grandmother of Gianna, Leo & Livi. Sister of Janice Hans & her husband Elliot of MD, John Frasca & his wife Heidi of Lowell, Edward Frasca & his wife Susan of NH and Nancy Corso & her late husband Lenny of Billerica.  Susan is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Malachy Church 99 BEdford St Burlington, in St. Veronica Parish, www.stveronicama.org on Saturday, August 21 at 10am.  Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers memorials in Susan’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 www.www.diabetes.org
