To my dear friends Mr. Musumano, Kevin, Kris, and Jen: your beautiful mother made an indelible and unforgettable impact on my life. I loved seeing her, and she always, always welcomed us into your home. What fun times we had. Thank you, Mrs. Musumano, for always leaving the leftovers on the counter, along with the red- shelled pistachios.
