What a dear friend Helen was to Chuck, Cristyn, Peter and I so many years ago. George was the first person we met in Burlington, and Helen welcomed us graciously into their extended family. Memories of Helen fill me with warmth and smiles, acceptance and love, sprinkled with her delightful giggle. George and Helen were a team. And then later I can still see Giffy talking about Helen with that look that could only come from one completely besotted. And Helen shared that new found love with him. What an example of grace and dignity Helen was to me, what a testimony to the love of Jesus in her life. I am so thankful to have been given the gift of being her friend. What joy to know she is now sitting at the table with Jesus, George, and Giffy and I can hear her giggling.

Prayers for the Mann & Hammond Families.
I first met Helen back in 1975, and she was a kind and generous person. Helen loved cats and dogs, and she provided some of the best snacks to those that visited her children.
Sent with love,

There truly is an empty space in all our hearts. We send the entire family our condolences. We feel very greatful to have had the opportunity to have shared so many wonderful times together . To be welcomed by Helen into the family and share so many years together,is truly an honor (if Helen liked you your in ) My mom, Pamella Sperry, met George Mann when he showed and sold my parents the house some 40 years ago and we still live in today. Yes George Mann was truly a great salesman he sold my mom the house and sold us to Helen. my mom had three criteria 1: house must not be on a busy street, 2. House must be all on one floor, 3. House must not have a septic system, well the house is on busy route 62, has 3 stories(floor) and had a septic system. Why did my mom buy that house? That day my mom met Helen they talked they deal was made! You may be wondering why tell this here ? This is not about the sale of a home. The house was not one my parents would ever have considered but for the fact this was more about a new friendship and inner feeling / bonding trust people seldom get to embrace in life especially in this fast paced , social distance world of today. This is important to mention because those who know Helen know she didn’t just go around talking to people she didn’t know on a whim. She had a career, a family to tend to and her own house to manage yet she took the time to help and she and my mom had a special friendship right from the first time they met. My mom would often say Helen always looks so elegant and dresses beautifuly. They both shared this affinity to always try to be in fashion and look their best in common. Helen was truly a concerning and caring person who we are going to miss and continue to appreciate the her friendship and that of the entire family. Bless all

We were saddened by the news of Aunt Helen’s passing. My husband Tim and I owned a bicycle shop in New Hampshire from 1987 - 2001 and we have fond memories of Uncle George and Aunt Helen surprising us with a visit as they toured around NH in their antique car. I got to say hello to Aunt Helen the last week in January. I was visiting my Mom, Evelyn in NJ at the time. Aunt Helen and my Mom shared their love and concern for each other. My Mom loved her big sister so much! We send our sympathies and love to the entire Mann and Gray families.
