Obituary of Jay Frasca

Jay Frasca, former owner of American Mechanical in Wilmington passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 4, 2013. He was 34 years old. Jay was born in Winchester and grew up in Tewksbury. Jay excelled in sports especially baseball and football. He went to Peterson School in Woburn to earn his degree in HVAC. He learned the HVAC trade with Superior Air Conditioning and Refrigeration in N. Andover. He then owned his own company, American Mechanical in Wilmington for a number of years. He was currently working with Alewife Air. Jay was a dynamic and daring individual. Ever since he was a child he was always the person who was the center of attention. He excelled in sports and was a leader amongst his friends and teammates. He was always on the go, loving the outdoors, anything with a motor, and always craving a new challenge. He was a motorcycle and boating enthusiast. He loved being outdoors and spending time on the family farm in Buxton, ME. He was courageous and brave and was the first in a group to take on a challenge as seen by his family when they visited Welton Falls in New Hampshire, when Jay was a teenager. Jay climbed the cliff over the falls, and without trepidation, took the plunge. That was just the way he lived his entire life. Jay was the loving father of John, Hali, Emma, & Jayson of Billerica. He was the son of John and Heidi of Lowell. He was the brother of Brad of NJ, Jaime of Lowell, Jordan of Lowell, and Corey of ME. He was also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (exit 34 off Rt. 128/95, Woburn side) on Sunday, March 10 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Followed by a funeral service at the funeral home 4:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
