Obituary of Jean Walker Rose

Jean Walker (Buddy) Rose, passed away at Apple Valley Center in Ayer, following a brief illness on Sunday, July 10, 2022.  The wife of the late Stuart Davis Rose, she was 91 years old.

Jean was born in Toledo Ohio. She was raised and educated in Worcester. Jean and Stuart moved to Burlington in 1959 where she raised her four children.  She worked as a Bank Manager for Commercial Bank and Trust in Burlington for over 20 years.  

Jean’s family was everything to her.  Her greatest joy was visits from her grandchildren whom she adored.  Christmas was her favorite holiday and she loved to spoil her grandchildren with presents.  Jean enjoyed traveling and visited Nova Scotia in Canada, England and Scotland which was her lifelong dream.  Jean was a woman who did not take things too seriously and was able to always lighten the mood. 

Jean was the wife of the late Stuart Davis Rose. She was the mother of Cathy Forst & her husband Gary of Colorado Springs, CO, Carol Rose & her companion James Lapin of Hudson, NH and the late Steven and Michael Rose.   Proud grandmother of Samantha, Daniel, Allyssa, Christina and Timothy and great grandmother of Haleigh, Cass & Carter.
