Obituary of Nancy Vigneau

Nancy (Coates) Vigneau, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning, July 25, 2022.  The beloved wife of David Vigneau, she was 66 years old.   Nancy was born, raised and educated in Burlington.  She was the daughter of the late Patricia and Richard Coates.  Nancy met a local Burlington boy, David Vigneau, while still in high school.  They married and lived in Malden for seven years before moving to Billerica in 1980 where they raised their family.

Nancy worked as a secretary at Lahey Clinic in Burlington for over 15 years.   With her caring personality it was the perfect job for Nancy as she was able to help assist patients with appointments and problems.  Nancy was always looking to see what she could do to help others.  She enjoyed painting, flowers and being a homemaker.  Nancy was an avid reader; biographies were her favorite.  A peaceful day for Nancy would be taking a ride to Maine with her husband, David, and visiting the ocean. 

Nancy was the beloved wife of David. Loving mother of Danielle of Billerica and the late David, Jr.  Sister of Thomas Coates of Lowell, Peter Coates & his wife Lisa of Grafton and Claire Cassidy & her husband David of Chelmsford.  Nancy is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington on Thursday, July 28 from 5-8pm.  Funeral from the funeral home on Friday, July 29 at 9am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Theresa Church, in St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish,  466 Boston Road, Billerica at 10am.  www. billericacatholic.org
