Obituary of Helen Louise Thomas
Helen L. Thomas, 91, of Burlington, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Boston to the late Ernest and Delphina McGee. She was the devoted wife of Milton E. Thomas, Jr. with whom she shared 64 years of marriage until his death in 2015. She was a longtime resident of Stoneham.
She is survived by her children, Bob Thomas & his wife Cammie of Stoneham, Rose Bille of Melrose, Ken Thomas & his wife Jan of Boxford, and Kathy Crasco of Burlington. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter Cheryl Callanan.
She was the proud Nana to Rob Thomas Jr., Joseph Bille, Matthew Bille, Allison Pogar & her husband Tom, Brian Thomas, Chris Callanan, Adam Callanan, Meghan Callanan, and Nicholas Crasco & his fiancée Christine Lyons.
She was blessed to have a long life filled with family, friends, laughter, and love. She will be forever remembered by all those she touched during her lifetime.
Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home on Thursday, August 25 from 4:30 to 7:30pm. Funeral from the Sullivan Funeral Home on Friday, August 26 at 9am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Church in St. Veronica Parish, www.stveronicama.org, 111 Winn St., Burlington at 10am. Services will conclude with a burial in Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
