Uncle Greg was not only my uncle, he was my Godfather. And seeing that he was THE Godfather of the family, I always felt special because of this and also because uncle Greg made me feel so. And to distinguish in the family which Greg they were referring to in conversation, the titles of "Big Greg" and "Little Greg" were born....and never left lol. Auntie Joyce alone felt bad about this and would often say later in life when I was still referred to as Little Greg: "who knew that even in adulthood you would still have to be called this?" I didn't mind, it was my title, but I appreciated her concern :) Uncle Greg was just as proud to be my Godfather as I was to have him as such. He was the eldest and you could always see how much family meant to him. He called all of us younger ones in the family, both male and female alike, honey. It was his special term of endearment for us all. His constant smile, laughter and upbeat attitude are indelibly marked in my mind. Thank you uncle Greg for the love you showed me, and all of us, throughout all of our lives!
