Obituary of Judy Marie Zagzoug

Judy Marie Zagzoug passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022, following a courageous battle with cancer.  She was 55 years old.

Judy was born in Cambridge and raised and educated in Burlington. She was a 1985 graduate of Burlington High School.  After high school she attended Burdett College of Business.  She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Mitre in Bedford for many years.  Judy switched careers and became a caregiver for the elderly.  With her kind and caring nature, it was the perfect job for Judy. She would go to her clients’ homes and help them with many tasks including cooking, shopping and cleaning.

Judy had a long and loving relationship with her companion Richie Alger.  They enjoyed scenic rides on his motorcycle throughout New Hampshire and Maine.   Judy lived in Tewksbury for many years and recently had moved to Maine.   Judy will be remembered for her friendly, happy and outgoing demeaner. 

Judy was the loving mother of Michael Zagzoug & his partner Tim Jobin of Windham, NH.  Judy was the beloved companion of Richie Algiers of Maine, formerly of Tewksbury.  Loving daughter of Arthur “Mickey” Zagzoug of Florida formerly of Burlington and the late Janet Zagzoug.   Sister of Carol Zagzoug & her wife Jessicia of FL, Steven Zagzoug & his wife Patti of Marlborough and the late David Zagzoug.     Proud aunt of Samantha, Joseph, Christina, Steven, David, Dom, Sarah, Erin.  Great aunt of Adrian. 

Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington on Monday, November 7 from 4-7pm.  Funeral Services will be private.
