Obituary of Nancy Morrison

Nancy A. (Chenevert) Morrison passed away at the Boston Medical Center on Monday evening, November 6, 2006. The wife of the late William D. Morrison, she was 73 years old. Nancy was born, raised and educated in Melrose. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Helen Chenevert. After graduating from high school she moved to California where she met and married her husband. They then moved to Maine before setting in Burlington in 1964 where they raised their three children and became an active member of the community. She was employed as an Insurance Agent for many years at Bob Johnson Insurance Co. and Cadell & Byers in Burlington. Nancy was on the Board of Directors at TOPS. She was also very active at the Burlington Council on Aging. She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping and had a great fondness for cats. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all. Nancy is the beloved wife of the late William D. She is the loving mother of Richard A. Morrison & his wife Teresa of Woburn, Helen J. Morrison and Charles W. Morrison both of Burlington. She is the sister of the late John Chenevert. She is the grandmother of Jessica of Woburn, Christopher of Woburn and Richard Jr. of Malden. Funeral Services will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Friday, November 10 at 12 Noon. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington. Memorials in Nancy’s name may be made the Shriner’s Burn Institute, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
