Obituary of Angela E. DiPietro

Angela DiPietro, a hairdresser and cosmetologist from Plymouth, passed away on December 6th at the age of 45. Angela was born to her parents Frances and Joseph in Winchester, and grew up in Burlington. Growing up, she loved going to dance class and cheerleading with the Burlington Pop Warner cheerleaders. At a very young age she always loved cooking and baking.  Angela went on to graduate from Burlington High School and then take classes at the Melrose Beauty Academy.

Angela got so much joy out of working as a hairdresser. She took so much pride in her work. Angela started cutting hair in the Burlington, but work led her to Arlington, the South Shore, and eventually to Plymouth to work at a salon. Even when she couldn’t work for the salon, she still offered to do some of her family’s hair. Angela loved living in Plymouth, as she always felt at home by the water.

Angela’s family played such an important part in her life. After losing her father in 2002, the family traveled to Italy to bring a portion of Joseph’s cremains to rest in Rome. It was a special way for the family to get together to remember him. The family had been on a trip to Europe several years before.  She especially loved Germany after studying the language and participating in the Exchange Student Program at Burlington High School.

Her siblings, Christine and Mark, each started families and Angela loved their kids as her own. Her family will never forget Angela’s love and how she always put others before her, and  had the biggest heart.

Angela was the beloved daughter of Fran and the late Joseph of Burlington. She was the dear sister of Christine Watters & her husband Dave of East Sandwich, and Mark DiPietro & his wife Beth of Billerica. She was the cherished aunt to Charlie, Joey, and Giada Watters, and Jolene DiPietro.

Visiting hours will be held at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., Burlington on Thursday, December 15, from 4pm – 7pm. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 16, at 10am at St. Malachy’s Church, 99 Bedford St, Burlington, MA 01803. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Angela’s name may be made to St Jude's Children Research Hospital
