Obituary of Daniel Lee Sperry
Daniel Lee Sperry passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. He was 57 years old. Dan was born in Waltham, MA. His Family moved to Florida in 1977. His family moved back to Massachusetts and settled in Burlington, MA in 1978. He was a 1982 graduate of Burlington High School. He went on to further his education in electronics at Sylvania Technical Institute. He then took a job with ComputerVision in Bedford, MA as a technician several years later he took a job for Xerox. Deciding he much preferred working outdoors, he became a general contractor doing roofing, siding, and a wide variety of other construction projects. He loved fishing and camping. He also loved to be involved with Motorcycle Motorcross Racing which he was proud of his motorcycle team Sons Travis, Devon and daughter Allysa who helped cheer them on and load the "rig" as they called it traveling around from one race to another. The family racers and crew brought home many trophies while living in North Carolina. He loved getting Haircuts and chair side talks/ advice from his daughter Karter.
Dan Leaves behind 13 grandchildren, Roger, Skylar, Caleb, Brooklyn, Cameron,Emily, Emma, Liam, Sawyer, Shane, Milton, Emmitt, and Grifton. Dan was the father of Karter Anne Cordeiro of Bedford, MA, Devon Lee Sperry of Pinson, AL, Travis James Sperry of Richmond Hill, VA, Allysa Abbey-Rose Wiley of Ft. Campbell, KY, and Dylan Douglas Sperry of Hendersonville, NC. He was the brother of Douglas J. “DJ” Sperry of Burlington. He is survived by his father James D. and late mother Pamella Lee Sperry.
