Dear Ruthie. She was a treasure to know, and a pleasure to visit with. John and I felt so welcomed when we visited Bobby and Ruth. My sincere condolences to the Sullivan family. Ruthie has gone home to Bob and her grandson under the care of God. I am so blessed to have known Ruthie and Bob.

There are no words heartfelt enough to express the love and admiration I have for my precious Aunt!
She and my Uncle Bob were always the heart of our family on our visits from Maryland to Massachusetts. Mom and Dad would pack us five kids in the car and off we would go to stay with our Nana and see all of our cousins in Burlington. What fun we had and so many memories we made.
The only reason we feel such profound loss is because we had such a profound blessing.
How sad we are now, but how lucky we were! And how fortunate we are still to have all the stories and experiences and memories we shared.
The way she touched my heart cannot be erased. The smiles and laughter she created will live on forever!
Let us find peace in the past to carry our hearts forward.
With Love and Gentle Blessings,
Janice Nace

I am so sorry to hear of your moms passing. She was a wonderful person. I am happy to say my son was one of the lucky children in the neighborhood to get an ice cream from her. My mom would be watching Dennis and he would go over to play with Jake and get ice cream from “Jakes Nana”. I have no doubt that she will be very missed. Love and hugs to you all.
Love,
Cheryl (Lavoie) Bernoth

Auntie Ruthie and Uncle Bob always made you feel welcomed. The smiles alone when you arrived just made everything wonderful. Will always remember the smiles.

Ruth was a wonderful friend to me, very kind, fun & very loving. When her husband Bob passed, the first anniversary of Bob’s passing, I wrote to Dave “remembering Bob”. Ruth had asked for me to come by to see her. That was the beginning of our friendship. I visited Ruth once a month. She welcomed me into her wonderful family. She enjoyed the flowers I would bring her. Purple was her favorite color, as was mine. It was so nice being with the whole family. Bob & Ruth raised such an amazing family. I will miss Ruth very much, she is a special angel. She will always have a very special place with me as well as her family & Bob. It was always comforting reminiscing about Bob as well as them as a couple & family. Much love, hugs. Such a beautifully written obituary.
