Sue and family.
I was saddened to recently hear about the passing of your beloved husband and father, Jack. Even though our experiences together were limited, I held a deep respect for him. He was a man of honor and integrity who was devoted to his family, friends and his faith.
I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
May He Rest in Peace

Our sincere sympathies go out to Sue, Krissy and Kim and their families. We have shared many happy memories over the years. Rollie and Jack had great stories to tell about their years as Lexington football coaches, from late-night coaches' meetings to driving busloads of players to camp in New Hampshire. Jack was a dedicated educator, gave cheerfully of his time and talents to his church and our community, and was devoted to his family. He will be missed.

Mr. Heidbrink was my Social studies Teacher and position Coach on the Lexington Football Team. Great Coach and Teacher. He was more relaxed in the Classroom. Cool Guy. I hope Coach Heidbrink will never Forget our Thanksgiving day game against Burlington High. Lexington won 12-6. On a rainy day. Very cold day. Winning that game was like winning the Super Bowl. Thank you. Coach. Heidbrink. You were a great Teacher and Coach. I have so much respect for you. Take care of Coach Tighe. Up there. I miss you. RIP. Coach

My heart is heavy just learning of Mr. H's passing as my mind floods with so many memories of my history class. I didn't get the chance to say thank you for bringing history alive by shining a different light on it. Your history class was THE ONLY HISTORY CLASS I ever passed while in school. Thank you for the wonderful memories and lessons.

I was so sad to hear about Jack. He was a wonderful man and so easy to talk to. We had some fun times working on the scholarship essays. Whenever he was in Town Hall he would stop at my office to say hi. He was a kind, gentle man and will be deeply missed. My heart goes out to your family.

I was lucky enough to grow up next to the Heidbrink’s. Mr. Heidbrink was a great man. Such a hard worker and such a family man! He was a great athlete too that even we witnessed growing up. He and all our Dad’s were on our street softball team together. The “ Townliners”. Amazing memories. After the games, it was just understood that all our families did a cookout together & those are some of the best memories. The music they played (Neil Diamond being one) brings those memories back every time I hear some of those songs today. Many years of the Town Liners games we got to watch of Mr. Heidbrink and our Dads play. Kim and I had many sleepovers growing up and one thing I vividly remember was his special “silver dollar” pancakes. A minor thing right? But a great memory for me. It is something that sticks out in my mind and makes me smile when thinking of it. He and my Dad would take us all trick-or-treating while our moms handed out candy. As tradition had it, we went back to their house , had donuts and bobbed for apples. So many memories come to mind from trips to their Cape home as he always welcomed Kim and Krissy’s friends, to blueberry picking with him in their backyard woods when we were little. We played many a kickball kickball games between our houses while our Dad’s did yard work side by side. Kim and I were inseparable. The memories of our families together are so fulfilling and ones I will never forget. I feel lucky and blessed to have had Mr. Heidbrink next to my family all growing up. My parents, 4 sisters and I are heartbroken over his loss. RIP you will be forever missed.
