Bob and Chris Curran were neighbors of JoAnne's and Paul's for 31 years. They were wonderful neighbors and so very supportive to a former Somerville couple just buying their first house. Paul plowed our driveway and JoAnne watched over our daughter Amy while we rushed to the hospital so Chris could deliver our son, Matt. Wonderful neighbors and people who we will always remember fondly. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the entire Gerbrands family. Bob & Chris Curran

I was a cheerleader with Joanne in high school. She always had a smile on her face and was such a sweet calm person. My prayers to her family that they will take solace in all the memories they shared with Joanne and Paul!

I loved my mother dearly. We had our own special relationship. I already miss talking to her in the morning before work and texting her during Jepoardy where we would make fun of the contestants. She was my biggest supporter through all of my struggles and she never never gave up on me. She used to use a Gram Bonism:”It all comes out in the wash. Sometimes you just need a little more bleach.” Miss you forever.
