Obituary of George Rosado

George Rosado

October 26, 1952 - May 29, 2023

On May 29, 2023, Pastor George Rosado, 70, transitioned peacefully to the Heavenly places with our Lord and Savior, who has made him free and whole.

George was born on October 26, 1952, to Rogelio and Luisa Rosado in New York, and was the eldest of three, his brother Junior and sister Mildred. He graduated from Zion Bible College and attended Gordon Theological Seminary. After graduating, he immediately began to serve the Lord in ministry, where he met his beloved wife, Grace (Rosado).

On June 14, 1975, George and Grace sealed their love in marriage, proving in 47 years that Love conquerors all, endures all, and believes all. They welcomed their precious gift, Victoria Joy in 1984, who would expand their blessings with her husband, Benjamin Adler, and their two extraordinary grandchildren, Anna Grace and Caleb Benjamin.

George was a man of faith, a visionary, who loved God with all his heart, compassionately loved people, and enjoyed life. He loved to worship the Lord, and often you could find him listening and singing praises, whether to the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir or a Psalms 23 song. One of his favorite Christian songs was Jesus Got a Hold of My Life by Dallas Holmes. He immensely enjoyed the tranquility of the outdoors, the woods, watching the Celtics and Patriots, and having adventurous and amusing moments with his friends, Irving and Frank.

God had an astounding and glorious story to be told through George’s life. The Lord delivered, healed, and restored George from the early years of his life plagued with much pain and struggles with life-controlling issues. He knew the Lord’s miracle-working power and love transformed his life, which birthed a desire in his heart to help those, like him, experience God’s saving grace. God established his vision in 1977 when he founded New Life Home for Women and Children. It was the only residential home for women with children struggling with brokenness in New England at that time.

In 1992, he felt the Lord expanding his ministry to establish an inner city church, Hope Tabernacle, and an outreach community center he named Hope Center in Manchester, NH. There he ministered to those in need for 17 years. Within Hope Center, he created an inner-city basketball team, provided free educational programs for children, and organized a food pantry. George dedicated his life to bringing hope to the community, knowing that the Lord could transform their lives.

George was predeceased by his father Rogelio Rosado, his mother Luisa Rosado, and his sister Mildred Rosado. He is survived by his wife Grace Rosado, his daughter Victoria Joy, her spouse Benjamin Adler and two grandchildren, Anna Grace Adler, and Caleb Benjamin Adler. He leaves behind and awaits to be reunited again with his dear brother Junior Rosado, his family, his friends, and all those he loved.

The Wake will be held at Mt. Hope Christian Church 3 McGinnis Dr. Burlington, MA 01803 on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 9:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Life Home at www.newlifehome.org to support George’s legacy of love, God saves and restores broken lives.

“I can see him smiling with such joy. He’s worshiping. He has gone from suffering to singing.”

“I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.”

Psalm 37:25 NIV
