Obituary of Marjorie Seminatore

Marjorie J. Seminatore passed away unexpectedly at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington on May 4, 2013. Marjorie was born raised and educated in Woburn. She was one of 8 children born to the late Gerald and Christina Seminatore. Marjorie’s family moved to Burlington in 1944 where they purchased the Maple Knoll Farm. There the family had a turkey farm selling over 1,000 turkey’s a year with all the children working at the farm at some point in their life. The farm was farm was eventually sold to the Town of Burlington and is currently the Pine Haven Cemetery in Burlington. Marjorie went on to have a long career at RCA in Burlington where she worked as an Executive Secretary for over 40 years. Marjorie kept in touch with her co-workers and was a member of the RCA Retirement Club where they would meet for lunch monthly. Marjorie was one of the original members of the Catholic Daughters at St. Margaret’s. She loved to knit and would make baby outfits for unwed mothers. Marjorie had a close relationship with her sisters. They would enjoy going out to lunch together and traveling to such destinations as Italy and many of the Caribbean Islands. Marjorie also enjoyed spending summer’s at her sister Marie’s summer home in Surry, Maine. Marjorie was the beloved daughter of the late Gerald & Christina Seminatore. Loving sister of Loretta Levasseur of Laconia, NH, Marie, Helen & Barbara Seminatore all of Burlington and the late Sister Christina, Gerald and Robert Seminatore. Aunt of Linda Seminatore of Hudson, NH Michelle Natale of Franklin and Christopher Levasseur of NH. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand nephews. Funeral from the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn St., BURLINGTON (Exit 34 off Rt. 128, Woburn side) on Tuesday, May 7 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Malachy Church, 99 Bedford St., Burlington at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Monday 5-8 p.m. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
