Anne Przyjemski

Obituary of Anne Przyjemski

Anne Przyjemski, a loving mother and former bookkeeper, passed away on June 26, 2023 at the age of 75. Anne was born in Scotland to her parents Francis and Agnes Dunn. After the death of her parents, Anne and her sister Mary left Scotland as teenagers and moved to the United States. The two lived in Texas and then Maryland before moving to Carlisle, Massachusetts, where she married Joseph Przyjemski and welcomed two daughters, Katrina and Karina.

Anne loved to be active and to travel.  She and Joseph completed several cross-country trips and climbed all 48 of New Hampshire's 4,000' peaks, often leaving work on a Friday afternoon and heading directly to the mountains.  Anne’s love for the outdoors extended to her home. She loved to garden and kept her home filled with unique trees, beautiful flowers and rock walls.  The Carlisle Garden Club asked to include Anne's home in their annual Garden Tour for several years.  After moving to Burlington, Anne again lovingly built a beautiful home and garden.  Her favorite pastime was sitting on the back deck of the home she shared with her daughter, reading a mystery novel and listening to the birds.  She spoke often with her sister Irene and niece Dawn, and treasured these phone calls with her beloved family abroad.

Anne cherished her family and would do anything for them. Anne loved to spend time with her girls and did everything to support them. Karina’s dogs, Bryson and Gator, were also cherished (and spoiled) by Anne. When Karina lived in London, Anne would frequently visit.  Her favorite spot was a local park, where she and Bryson would sit together on a park bench, share a grilled cheese sandwich and watch the world. When it was time for Karina to move home, Anne and Katrina flew to London and cruised with Karina and Bryson back to the US on the Queen Mary II.  In her later years, Anne enjoyed trips to the family cabin in New Hampshire and to the ocean by Ogunquit and Gloucester, often listening to her favorite Alan Jackson CD on the way.

Anne was a loving mother to the late Katrina Przyjemski, as well as to Karina Przyjemski and Karina's long-time partner David Riley Jr. She was the former wife of Joseph Przyjemski and friend to Joseph's long-time parter, Jan Gardiner. She was the caring sister of Irene Deane of Australia and her late siblings Margaret Broadley, Francis Dunn, Catherine Morris, and Mary Cruz. Anne was the dear sister in law of William Morris of Scotland, Fran Przyjemski of Wilmington and the late John Deane of Australia.  Anne was the proud aunt of many nieces and nephews: Dawn Broadley of France, Steven Przyjemski of Wilmington, Laura and Leslie Deane of Australia, Stephen and Christopher Morris of Scotland, Rachel Cruz of Rhode Island, Cesar Cruz of Colorado, Kristina Przyjemski of Washington, Jacob Fox of New Hampshire.  She was the close friend of the late Joan Rolfe.

Funeral services for Anne will be private.
