My heart is heavy as I remember Uncle Eddie and the warmth and laughter he brought into our lives. His love for family was a hallmark of every summer BBQ, which thanks to either my papa’s or mom’s doing had us arriving first, well before 10am. The perk of being early was hearing Uncle Eddie's stories, filled with colorful tales of group trips to Vegas, the latest sports commentary, and everything in between.
As the years unfolded, I learned the true meaning behind those basement trips and recognized Uncle Eddie's immense love for hosting our family and dear friends. Above all else, he knew the value of bringing us all together, year in and year out. His and Aunt Arlene’s very special bond with my grandparents was a lifeline to their memories. After they passed, he kept our traditions and their spirit alive, often retelling funny stories and playing "Blueberry Hill” in my nana’s memory. Looking back, I realize the significance of these moments and the tradition now more than ever.
Today, my heart aches for his passing. We'll miss you, Uncle Eddie, and we're incredibly grateful for the love and warmth you so generously shared. I'm sending all my love to Aunt Arlene, Donna, Ed, and their families. As I do, I imagine Uncle Eddie being welcomed by familiar faces, a good card game, a generous pour of scotch, and the sound of his laughter filling the room once again.

Donna & Eddie. I have such wonderful memories of growing up with Dad. We were only a year apart in age and shared so many of the same friends from the neighborhood. Playing, arguing (yes arguing) but we got over it very quickly being kid's.in such a big family that happens. The memories of all the holidays that were spent at our Home on Pearl Street I will never forget the family, cousins, friends and neighbors that were like family always found their way to our Home I can remember a police chief once telling me as a teen to try to find a boy as good as your brother Eddie .He was a good boy and respectful. I love him and will always cherish all the good memories that i have of him. My prayers are that he was greeted and welcomed by all of the departed members of our family. Rest in the sweetest peace Eddie til we meet again. Your sister Angela.

Arlene, Donna, Ed and families,
Jeanne and I are saddened to hear about our dear friend Eddie’s passing.
There are tears of sadness. We also have tears of laughter because of those wonderful memories of our times together. We had so much fun whether it was the trips we took to Las Vegas, Torrance CA, Ossipee for guys weekend, the many lunches or just enjoying your family pool parties with those infamous trips to the basement.
We are so grateful that you honored us by bringing us into your family, whether it is your immediate family or your extended family. Because of you, we know so many wonderful people that we now consider our family also.
Please know we love you Eddie and will forever miss you
Fred and Jeanne

As the saying goes, you will be missed, but not forgotten. Every time I hear a Frank Sinatra song I will think of you and bring a smile to my face. The memories and laughs we shared will live in our hearts forever. May you be in peace with God and family forever.
