Through a business transaction, I spoke with Shelia over the phone
several times, and from our first phone conversation I felt an immediate
connection to her. Speaking with her always made my work day a little better.
Her brightness and kindness came through the phone line, loud and clear.
My sympathies to her family and friends.

I’m so sorry to hear of Sheila’s passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone of you during this very difficult time. I worked with Shiela in Boston as a F/A.
She was such a hard worker and a beautiful person. I used to love to hear of all her remodeling projects at her house. I was amazed at all she could do. She will be missed.

I worked with Shelia at USAirways for 10 years before I retired. She was a great FA and person. Loved hearing her house project stories , she even came to my house I gave some flowers to start her garden with. Peace Shelia you are now at home.

I personally loved flying wit Shelia, she was always fun an professional. I always told her I wanted to be her when I grow up. Because of how handy she was around the house an all the projects she did by herself, just a boss lady! … When she got ill her innate strength and will to fight Showed through her tenacity and grit. We stayed in touch via phone calls throughout. Even though at the end they became sporadic, understandably so. I will miss my friend, but she will be remembered by the many who knew her. She’s resting now, and gods willing we will see her again. Condolences to her family, take heart in the words, we shall meet again….. Rest in peace Miss Davies. I’m seriously gonna miss our chats and you.. Lisa Joseph FA BOS USAirways

Sheila was a darling, lovely person to not only work with but she was a compassionate listener as well. I always looked forward and enjoyed my trips with her, very easy going personality, never any drama, and she will be forever missed. May she rest in Eternal Peace forever and ever.

Pass riding with my husband on her flight at 6:00 am and she convinced us that we should live every day to the fullest when we were deciding whether it was too early to have a Bloody Mary. She set us up with doubles and we laughed bevause she was THE BOSS she said !! She had the CUTEST smile ever and was so much fun to be with flying. She was VERY brave these last difficult years and she will be dearly missed by so many people!!! Rest in peace dear Sheila

I was a coworker at UsAirways with Sheila. I always loved flying with her! She loved to talk about her nieces and nephews and the trips she took them on. And let’s not forget about the close relationship with her dear mother she took care of. They will be reunited in heaven. Sheila had a huge heart and will be greatly missed! Rest in peace

Borrowing a line from another great, the late Tina Turner’s hit sing “The Best”, is how I will always remember Sheila. Because Sheila is “simply the best”!!! She was an outstanding person and a fantastic coworker, whose laughter and zest for life was highly contagious. She was someone that we all looked forward to flying with. Condolences to Sheila’s family and friends, she will be missed.

I had the greatest pleasure of working with Sheila at USAir/American. I was always so elated to see her name on my Trip Sheet. I remember one time we were together on a 4 day trip after just getting our German Shepherd puppy the week before and poor Sheila…I talked her ear off for 4 days about my perfect pup. Instead of Blocking me from flying with her ever again, she instead showed up the next week with a handmade puppy bandana which my Emma wore everyday until she grew out of it. She truly had the kindest most generous heart and always had your back. Our hearts are broken. Fly high sweet Angel, you will forever be missed.

Sheila, you are gone too soon! We will all miss you very much. You were a great aunt to my kids. Fond memories of your individual trips to Disneyland and other places for the girls, very selfless and thoughtful. I know you loved them very much. You were a great sister in law to me. Although we did not always agree you did help me through some tough times for which I am always grateful. God bless you
