Obituary of William J. Queen, Jr.

William J. Queen- of Woburn, passed away, July 9th, at the age of 87. He was the beloved husband to Patricia Queen (Savard) and proceeded in death by his late wife Lillian (Boudreau).

William Jr. was born to his parents William and Josephine Queen. He was born in Woburn and grew up in Burlington. William was a lifelong Woburn resident, where he was a loving father to his children. He spent many years working at Winchester Country club. He enjoyed his retirement by spending time with his family, watching the red sox games, putting together puzzles with his wife that he would frame and gift to family, and playing with his cat jude. William was an avid lover of golf. He planned trips with his friends to go play courses all over New England.

William is survived by his wife Patricia "Pat" Queen (Savard). His children Susan Queen and her partner Ron Boucher of Pepperell, Barbara Hill and her husband Dave of Woburn. Step-children John Murray and his wife Debbie of Georgia, Karen Coza of Woburn, and the late Charles Queen and Lillian Ramos. His brother George Queenand his wife Maryann and his late siblings, Richard Queen, Donna Queen, Joseph Queen, Mary Essigman, Anne Patterson, Dorothy Latulippe, and Joyce Queen. Grandchildren David Hill, Sarah Danforth and her husband Bret, Susan Costello and her husband Bryan, Kevin Hill, Katelyn Walker and her husband Chris, Robert Beagley and his wife Shawna, William Queen and his wife Amanda, Vanessa Queen, Laura Brandao and her husband Brandlle, Joseph Ramos, Casey Bing and her husband Aaron, John Murray and his wife Samantha, lan Conza, Nicholas Conza, and 23 Great-Grandchildren. He's also survived by his beloved cat, Jude.

A visitation for William will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 11 AM-12:30 PM, at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home, 43 Winn Street, Burlington, MA 01803. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM at the Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, 686 Washington St, Winchester, MA 01890.
