Obituary of Louise Elizabeth Sabatino

Louise E. Sabatino (Freniere) age 93 of North Smithfield, RI, formerly Sebastian, Fl and Burlington, MA passed peacefully away with her four children by her side on September 5, 2023. She was a happy and loving person who devoted her heart to her family and God. Louise will be remembered for her gentile presence, unwavering faith, and sweet smile. She will be missed every day as Mom, Grammy, Auntie Louise, and the best friend one could ever ask for.

Louise was born in Cambridge, MA on March 19, 1930, to her late parents, Arthur Joseph and Mary Bridget (Doucette) Freniere. She lived in Cambridge with her older sister Marie and younger sister Elaine until a sweet boy from Somerville swept her off her feet behind the potatoes and onions at Publix as a teenager. Franny came into her life, and they never looked back. The love story began as a married couple on May10, 1952 and will remain to be eternal.

As a young woman, Louise worked as a bank teller. She studied at the Boston Conservatory of Music and dedicated her life to sharing her beautiful voice for the love of God. Louise sang as a soloist and choir member at St. Margaret's Church in Burlington, MA. On October 1, 1979, Louise sang for Pope John Paul II in the papal choir on the Boston Commons. A true honor and testimony for the heavenly voice Louise had.

Louise worked side by side with her love at Spear Trucking Company as accounts payable and receivable support. She also provided childcare to many. Louise also worked as a teacher's aide in Somerville, MA.

Louise dedicated her life to serving others. She cared for many people in need. She was strong, spontaneous, and willing to pitch in to help anyone with home improvement projects. She loved to paint the house, garden, put wallpaper up and so much more.

Louise is preceded by her late husband Francis A. Sabatino, whom she missed dearly every day. Also, she is preceded by her sisters Marie (Simard) and Elaine (Siggins). Louise is survived by her 4 children, Alan F. (Denise), Kenneth F. (Marguerite), Michael F. (Monique), and Sharon L. Stager (Eric). Louise has been blessed with 11 grandchildren; Jason Sabatino (Priscilla), Alicia Macdonald (Joseph), Abigail Sabatino, Anthony Sabatino, Rosemary Sabatino, Aaron Sabatino, Catherine Sabatino, Leah Sabatino, JR Stager (Heloisa), Seraphina Stager, and Noah Stager; and 5 great grandchildren, Trever Sabatino, Lorissa Sabatino, Jenna Sabatino, Mia Macdonald and Ian Macdonald. She is loved by many nieces and nephews within her extended family.

Louise's family will be received by relatives and friends on Saturday September 9, 2023, at 10am at Edward V Sullivan Funeral Home 43 Winn Street Burlington, MA 01803. Following the viewing, a funeral servicewill be held at 12:00 pm at St. Margaret Church 111 Winn Street Burlington, MA. Interment will follow immediately at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, 52 Bedford Street Burlington, MA.
