I was so saddened to hear about Denise’s passing. We were high school buds and recently (7 years) reconnected thru Classmates, Facebook and telephone. My fondest memories of Denise was walking home from Arlington High, stopping at Dewey’s to get tea and grilled english muffins. And of course our Friday night adventures and Sunday church shenanigans! Ken more Square was always fun and that is where she met her beloved Steve. RIP Denise. Till we meet again. I love you.

It has been a great joy and privilege to call Denise "friend" for over 30 years. We have shared many laughs and made so many wonderful memories whether traveling abroad and throughout the US, hanging out in Vermont or attending Steve's Annual Northeastern Homecoming Tailgate. I will always treasure our sing-alongs when one word would trigger our rendition of an oldie but goodie.
Denise's kind, funny and sweet spirit will always remain with us.
Love Spence and Sue

Steve,
When we moved into the neighborhood, Denise was the first person to greet us and welcome us. She was always so kind and friendly, and always watching out for everyone else. When pregnant with Joey, there was an E. Coli scare with the water. She didn’t skip a beat and came right over to make sure we knew, so that we would be safe. She even brought a gift over for Joey when he was born. Denise always came by to say hello and check in when she saw us out and about, and it was always so lovely talking with her. She will be sorely missed, and we are very sad we didn’t get to know her longer. May you all find peace during this difficult time.
Fondly,
The Secklers

Dear Steve and Breeze, I'm so sorry you have lost your best friend and she will be missed by many many people. Denise was a joy to be around and her quirky wry humor will always be remembered. Miss you Denise! Roy and Troy and NoNo

Dear Steve family and friends,
What a beautiful tribute! From St Agnes & Confirmation through 4 years at AHS then working at the Arlington Five we shared some fun. Fidelity House and the CYO dances to name a few. Reunited again at our 50th HS reunion and we had some great fun preparing and meeting in Maine and the reunion itself. RIP Denise, until we meet again.
Love,

Denise and I went to High Scool together and later worked at Arlington Savings for a spell. In both environments she was the same: low key, a little shy, great sense of humor and a very nice person. She was a genuine pleasure. Not having any contact with Denise since 1971, I was thrilled to read about her many travel adventures around the globe and back and the interesting activities she had at the many countries she visited. I checked our yearbook and her chief goal was to visit California & Hawaii. I would say she far surpassed that and led a very fulfilling and satisfying, although far too short, life. She will be missed and may she rest in peace.

It was my honor to have known and worked with Denise during her tenure as the Animal Control Officer for Burlington. I would frequently run into her at the police station and she always had a smile and a quick 'Hello' to offer. She will be missed.

Denise was on our bowling team last year at The Woburn Bowladrome. Great Lady, enjoyed her many stories. Condolences to all, was so sorry to hear, so sudden.
