Bud was the devoted husband of the late Patricia (Sheridan) Larson. Bud and Pat were married at St Mary Parish in Billerica, MA in 1954, soon after, they started their family in Burlington, where they remained lifelong residents.

Bud graduated from Burlington High School in 1954 and served over 50 years supporting the Town of Burlington. He served on the Board of Registrars for over 17 years and 40+ years serving in various roles such as warden on every election day! Bud started his engineering career at GE, in Lynn MA, and remained there for over 40 years until he retired and traveled with his wife Pat and children on many occasions, to Ireland, Iceland and Sweden, and up and down all of New England. Bud was a gifted woodworker and master craftsman, and many of his neighbors, friends and family benefited from his creations such handmade clocks, pepper mills and musical instruments created from his home workshop.

Bud had a sharp wit and a dry sense of humor that was recognized and celebrated by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was also a talented musician, who played the banjo, and his handcrafted mandolins and guitars on many family occasions.

Bud was born on March 22, 1937, and was a Burlington resident his entire life. He had 6 children: 15 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Bud was the son of the late Elmer ‘Tiger’ Larson and Helen (Carroll) Larson of Burlington, MA. Bud was the loving father of Debra (Larson) Davie and her husband John Davie of Burlington, Lynne Larson of New York, Edward Larson of Burlington, Stephen Larson of Burlington and his wife the late Dale (Albertelli) Larson. Jon Larson of Burlington and his wife Marcy (Rodrigues-Brito) Larson, Derek Larson of North Andover and his wife Katie (Dattalo) Larson.

Bud was also the cherished Grandfather-in-law to Bijan Rashidifard, Dave Burke, and Brittany (Collins) Davie.

Bud loved his five great-grandchildren immensely: Cyrus & Yassi Rashidifard, Evan Larson, Reagan and Kellan Davie and Bud was happy to hear that his 6th great-grandchild, Bond Davidson Burke, was just born, and was able to meet him.

He will be greatly missed by many of his cousins, nieces, and nephews across the Larson, Larsson, Pettersson, Sheridan, Mitza, Carroll, Howard, Griffin, and D’Entremont families.
