Uncle Kevin, thank you for so many years of love and laughs. The epitome of a family man…you showed us all what it means to be an amazing husband, father, uncle, etc. I won’t forget the endless laughs provided during games of heads up or left right center on Christmas, or how you somehow always got the best number for yankee swap. Some of my favorite York memories involve watching you manically laugh going over waves on the boat while we all held on for dear life, then allowing us to take turns driving to make up for it. It still doesn’t feel real…your absence in this family will never go unnoticed. I love you Uncle Kevin ♥️

Mrs. Sullivan, Laura and family:
Please accept my condolences on Kevin's passing. Regrettably we had lost touch over the years but I have fond memories of him from our summers growing up in West Dennis. I will never forget his ability to bring a smile to a room and make us all break out in laughter. I consider myself lucky to have known him. Seeing the photos and comments posted here it is comforting to see that, while his life was way too short, it was a life well-lived, filled with family, love and laughter. I will keep you all in my prayers. May he rest in peace.

I’ll never forget the first summer uncle Kevin had his boat. He took my sister Siobhan and I out in the York River to fish for striped bass. We were using raw herring and mackerel as bait. As Kevin was getting ready to make his first cast, I noticed the biggest seagull I’ve ever seen circling above the boat. He must’ve smelled the raw fish we had just cut up, and soon as his bait hit the water the seagull dove straight down to it. This is where it gets interesting. Not only did the seagull steal the bait, he ended up with the hook through its tongue! Kevin proceeded to reel the seagull in to retrieve his hook. None of us realized the gull was hooked, we thought he just didn’t want to give up his lunch. Kevin reached over the side of the boat to pull hook but the bird hopped right into the boat with us. I was in tears with laughter at this point, then as Kevin reached towards is beak, it clamped right down on his index finger. It was a scene straight out of the three stooges. My sister and I froze, still laughing, but didn’t know how to help. I pulled out a knife and suggested cutting the line but even with his finger being pinched, Kevin protested because it would be cruel to the animal to live out its days with an unintentional tongue ring. That showed me the compassion uncle Kevin had for nature and all of it’s creatures. This was about 20 years ago and we still laughed about it all these years later.
You will be sorely missed by all that got to share even a minute with you. I love you man!

I am sending my condolences to all of Kevin’s family. I knew him through working at Schochet. While I worked at a different site I knew Kevin from trainings and company functions. I remember most that he was extremely welcoming to new staff onboarding, and had a great sense of humor.
