I am Uncle Roberts nephew and growing up he was always my cool uncle. I thought him being an Army paratrooper made him the coolest person I knew. when I turned 17 I joined the US Army and became a paratrooper jut like Robert. Robert had a very sharp gold ring with jump wings on it and when I was in an Airborne unit he and my father had an exact duplicate of the ring made. I was honored to be given such a gift and wear that ring fourty years later with the same pride as the day he gave it to me. As long as I wear that ring I will always think of my cool uncle who jumped out of planes. He will be greatly missed. Till Valhalla
We are so sorry for your loss. I met Bob at Sears he was my first boss. We became best friends and he was our best man when Clarice and I got married. We have many fond memories of being with Bob and Harriet. He was truly my best friend and when you were with him you never knew what would happen. We are going to miss him.
Bob was one of my mentors when I started at Sears in the late 60’s. Will always remember the card games softball games and van trips My condolences to the whole Galgay family. Rest in Peace Bob

Bobby, Tommy Finnegan and I were close friends in high school at CHLS (Cambridge High & Latin School) and were pretty much inseparable. We had many good times together and one night Tommy and I even serenaded Bobby and Harriet at her Dorm when she was attending Northeastern for Nursing. Never forget the days we all had together. Think of you, often Bobby.
