Joan was in my water aerobics class at BSC. She had the best attitude when it came to exercising. She was kind to me and always cheerful. She spent the beginning of class in the hot tub with her son Doug. Then jumped in the cold pool to exercise without even flinching. I was able to spend time with her on her last days. I got her smiling when I reminded her of these things. I also shared, with her, my memory of when she first got her dog as a puppy and how happy she was whenever she would talk about it. I will never forget her.
