Nancy, I will always remember having sleepovers at your house and playing with you, Mark and Gary. We had a lot of fun and I look back on those memories fondly. Mark will be missed. So sorry Nancy and family, Mark and your whole family were good friends to us growing up on Brown Ave. I never knew that Mark played chess, my brother late brother Stevie played too. I recently taught my grandsons how to play. May Mark rest in peace. Love, Aleta

I have known Mark from his days living in Dorchester. He was a wonderful man. Very kind, and very honest. He always told me as it was and kept me on my toes :). He did love a good game of chess! I am grateful that I got to know him for many years. May his memory be a blessing. He will be missed.

Mark and I were good friends back in the sixties and seventies. We spent a lot of time listening to music, talking college and hitting the beach in Gloucester. I lost contact with Mark over the years but I’ve never forgotten those great times. The DeMones were a great family. I’m sad for their loss. Godspeed old friend. Bill Thornton

\I knew Mark for only a few years but he was a great person. We always had great games of chess and it was clear that he loved his cat Macchi. I will miss him. So sorry for his family's loss.
