Although my interactions with Rebecca's grandmother were limited, I could tell how kind of a human being she was, as she exuded a nice demeanor and a general warmth about her. To read more about her life is something that provides the substance of important values that people should hold dear, and inspires people to spend more time with those they love. She was family-oriented; active in the community; living a life guided by faith; and still somehow devoted to working. That being said, she lived a life embodying selflessness and one that had a positive influence on others. Clearly, she leaves a great legacy. May her memory be a blessing.

Pat was such a beautiful person inside and out. I had the pleasure of working with her at the Escadrille and she always had a smile and something nice to say. She was a pleasure to be around. Rest in the sweetest peace. Carole you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Pat was quite simply, THE BEST OF THE BEST! Best neighbor, best friend, best wife and best mother to her 3 devoted children - Bill, Stephen and Carole. She was also the best surrogate mother to the rest of the kids in the neighborhood.
She was amazingly kind and compassionate and she single handedly kept HALLMARK in Business - always sending thoughtful cards to people for every occasion!
Pat was a bright light in the lives of everyone who had the priviledge to know her and to those of us who loved her.
She will be in my heart and my mind forever. Rest in peace my dear, dear Patsy!

My deepest condolences to Billy, Stephen and Carole:
Your mother was so lucky to have three loving children who took such great care of her and allowed her to pass with dignity
in the comfort of her beloved home.
Pat was my confirmation Godmother, my neighbor and a second mother to me and to all the kids in our little neighborhood.
She was an amazingly vital woman, full of so much energy and always looked 20 to 30 years YOUNGER than she actually was.
Pat was the "go to gal" when kids in our neighborhood needed a loose tooth pulled! LOL
We enjoyed many fun weekends at her little Cape Cod cottage in Manomet: " THE SOUTH WIND".
She was always there for me when I wanted or needed to talk. A good listener, a kind person and she was so involved and did
so much for our church - St. Malachys.
She had a beautiful heart and I remember seeing her come to Lahey Clinic (where I used to work) and bring so much comfort
to the sick and dying as a Eucharistic minister in their final hours by receiving the holy communion from her.
She was like an "Earth Angel" . This Earth had a wonderful century with Pat Thornton being here, now she is a guardian angel and I for one am glad she will still be watching over us still. I will miss you Patsy! Love and Light - Lori

Our sincere condolences to Pat’s family on her passing, strangely yesterday morning after my daybreak prayers, she was on my mind and I was thinking about her wondering if she was still alive and well and then I received this message from an Escadrille employee well into the evening!! How amazing is this just like she was contacting me and saying I’m alright Mario!! she embraced me and my family like her very own, Pat will be missed as her picture is on my grandson Hunter bedroom as she prayed for his recovery always, God bless her and keep her close to him in heaven.
